An application counts toward a period if it was active at any point in it — not only if it started inside it, and not only if it is still active at the end. Active from and Active to are available as fields so any row can be checked against that rule. Money is counted by the date it was charged, which is a different question from when the agreement ran, and the two are kept separate rather than averaged into one date.

Every figure is read from the same records the registry and the Intelligence lenses read, so a number here cannot disagree with the record it came from. A field with no source says so rather than rendering blank — an empty cell reads as zero, and an absent source is not a zero.
